At Hasan Butler Memorial Food Program, we are dedicated to serving our community by providing a monthly grocery bag to families in need. Every last Saturday of the month, we come together to distribute essential food items, spreading hope and nourishment to those facing food insecurity.

Story
A man on a mission
This food share program was founded by the late Hasan Butler, who worked tirelessly to gather donations from many - all to serve the Waterbury community in need with a monthly grocery bag full of items to nourish their families.
Hasan believed helping others was the greatest gift one could make, and would look forward to food distribution day as "the best day of the month."
Hasan passed away in 2018, and through the creation of this nonprofit organization, we carry forward his legacy.
